This sleek sushi restaurant is tucked into the basement of an office building in Washington DC’s Penn Quarter neighborhood.  Its unassuming exterior doesn’t prepare you at all for the glam white and gold interior that awaits you inside.

Sweet and Lovely Style: SEI Restaurant

It’s the small details that really give this space its style: the corset-type lacing on the chairs, the cabinet-style handles on the back of each chair, the gold leaf tables and walls, and the brocade pattern found throughout.

I just can’t get enough of the that wall detail.  I really need to replicate this in my apartment.
