Oh my gosh, you guys.  I can’t even get over the cuteness of this video!  It’s Home by Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros performed live at the KCRW studios.

I’ve been loving this song for a while now, and loving its sweet sentiment, but watching the live performance brings it to a whole new level of adorable!

We laugh until we think we’ll die,
barefoot on a summer night
Nothin’ new is sweeter than with you

Here’s the cuteness: The whistling, the jumping around, the foot stomping. The crazy 1970’s vibe (even though this was performed in 2009.) The obvious chemistry and affection between the lead singers (who were dating at the time they wrote and performed this song, but have since broken up.) The accordion player who doesn’t appear to play anything, but rocks out nontheless.  The build up to the jubilant finish (starting around 4:20.)

Ahh, Home
Let me come Home
Home is whenever I’m with you
Ahh, Home
Let me come Home
Home is when I’m alone with you

Check it out, I guarantee it’ll put a smile on your face. :)

(And yes, this really isn’t a mellow song, but it’s still one of my favorites.)
