…layer cake! At least, that’s the prediction of James Oseland at Saveur Magazine. I’ve said it before, I think layer cakes are the best. So beautiful and delicious. The more layers the better!
I suppose this marks the potential end of the reign of the cupcake, the (French) macaron, and the whoopie pie, which have each seemed to have their 15 minutes of fame the past few years. (Certainly more than 15 minutes for the cupcake.)
